Barrel Description

Barrel was purchased from Ruth at vadaiwinebarrels.com in the Fall of 2006. It is a decorative barrel about 15G in size. It is listed as a medium toast, but is more like a light toast. It was broken in by fermenting some chardonnay and/or viogniner followed by the Malbec Rose. For 2006/2007 it has held a Clone-8 Cabernet from Riverstone Vineyards near Walla Walla WA.
